  • bill52: Crypto miners have been acting pretty pathetic lately, but starting to perk up a bit this afternoon. $IREN and $CLSK looking the best of the bunch so far. Others watching: $RIOT $HUT $WULF $MARA

  • bill52: @champ $RIOT $CLSK Nice work. I've also been trading $RIOT along with $MSTX $IREN $WULF. Been having the best outcomes with $MSTX and $RIOT but all have some nice intraday moves if can catch right or overnight swings if they were particularly beaten down on a given day. Not always easy as they move fast.

  • woodman: $WULF still in volatile consolidation zone, up 18.5% today. Looks like the handle of a cup.
  • woodman: $WULF - 50d rising toward price as it gets squeezy (relative to its historical BB widths).
  • bill52: $IREN $WULF a couple BTC miners who also manage power for data centers, making another solid up move on good volume. While $MSTR is consolidating, these are making some nice continued moves. Fundamentally, these are quite solid as well especially for revenue growth. If the BTC trade continues, these could likely be more under the radar winners.
  • bill52: @djgustoso $MSTR $MSTX $IBIT I look at www.finviz.com. If you pull up a chart, there is a grid of info below it including "Short Float" percentage. MSTR showing about 14 percent. some of the other miners have even a bit higher like $MARA (19 percent) and $WULF (21 percent). If these are fairly accurate, then could add some extra jet fuel on the fire if BTC holds over the century mark and additional folks start feeling fomo. I'm not exactly sure how up to date these numbers are in Finviz, so if someone has a more reliable short interest website, please advise.
  • phgruver: @bill52 $MSTR $MSTX $IBIT $MARA $WULF You need to compare the short % with the days to cover. It is the "days to cover " that tells you how explosive the short squeeze could be. In a highly liquid stock, a high short % doesn't mean as much.

I'm guessing if the short ratio is under 1 than maybe not that big a deal but perhaps if its 2 or 3 or more than more explosive?

I was curious if there was much short interest on these and some have a decent amount which might give these names some extra juice with this BTC run. Here's what Finviz is showing as of today: $MARA 27% short interest (note: ER tomorrow 11/12 after bell) $RIOT 16% short interest $HUT 19% short interest (note: ER Wed, 11/13 before open) $WULF 17% short interest (note: ER tomorrow 11/12 after bell) $CORZ 13% short interest $IREN 6% short interest
